I first heard of Diane and Gracie through a YouTube video talking about what cryoglobulanemia does to her. Then we met officially last year on Facebook. Since then, I invited her to speak at my high school and church. We spent 5 days together in Dec. 2010 and became fast friends and sisters in Christ. She has an incurable disease that could take her life in a heartbeat, but you wouldn't know it by talking to her. She is upbeat and has a smile that lights up the room. Her mission to help hurting people leads her to children in hospitals where she gives out her love kits, and to hospitals, churches, schools, prisons and other organizations that help in community outreach. If you haven't heard her speak, I suggest you get on her website and look into getting her to come to your church or wherever people gather to hear inspiring messages. Diane's message makes kids sit up and take notice and always touches the hearts of many in those group settings. She and Gracie are an inspiration and I am honored to call her friend.
