Do one thing every day that scares you. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
This quote
sits on a shelf in my living room. There
have been many days when these words have gotten me through the day. Some days it was just getting up and making
the bed that scared me. Other days it
was venturing outside my front door.
Alice started
her day being scared of many things. I
wonder how tame those fears seemed to her after her day was over. She had to be scared when she was falling
down the rabbit hole. Each step of her
journey was a step into the unknown.
Every turn brought experiences more bizarre than those she’d just
left. Alice had to seriously wonder if
her mind was completely gone. But she
never turned back.
Alice had to
conquer each fear and in the end she found a stronger, braver version of
herself. Looking back at everything I've been through and survived I realize that I am a stronger, braver version of
myself as well.
What will you
do today that scares you?
