Rules for Holy Living
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Prayer
Lord, help us to set our minds on those things that will draw us closer to you. May our hearts, minds, attitudes and actions reflect our love for you in everything we do today. Your word tells us in Matthew 6:33-34 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (NIV1984) So we simply ask that you will help us to stay our hearts and minds on you today. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen
